This is not the type of book I often go for; nonfiction isn’t really my thing. But, when I saw this on Cosmopolitan Magazine’s snapchat story I knew I had to buy it. It’s a collection of essays about the authors mom and the crazy shit she’s said and don’t throughout the authors life. The idea for the book came about when the author made an Instagram account called Crazy Jewish Mom where she posted screenshots of the ridiculously hilarious text messages her mother would send her. The account blew up and the outcome was a bestselling book. The book is fucking hilarious and 100% worth a read, I highly recommend it.
